Scratch is a visual programming environment for children.

It is a wonderful software program that allows anyone to create games, art
and music on their computers. Come join us and learn how to create projects,
share your creattions, and meet other kids who love Scratch!

The event is open all children under 18. The size of our conference room is
limited, so please register using a ticket.

Agenda:

  Presentations

  - Welcome

  - Introduction to Scratch
    Learn how to create and share a Scratch project.
    You'll learn how to create a drawing and animate it.

  - Scratch art techniques
    Learn the techniques to create beautiful images.

  - Scratch Variables and conditionals

Project Workshop:
  - Teams will get together to design a game or program and then share with the group.

Share your projects
  - Show us your amazing creations!

You don't need a computer to attend, we'll have about a dozen PC's available
at ByteWorks.

Or you can bring your laptop or point us to your uploaded project on scratch.mit.edu
