How Graybar moved from a "Framework" Systems Management Solution to a MOM (Manager of Manager) Solution
by Dale Nagel & Darren Wallis

Abstract:

Graybar's migration to a Manager of Manager (MOM) solution for their IT and network environment How Graybar moved from a "Framework" systems management solution to a MOM (Manager of Manager) solution by MicroMuse to manage their complete environment of business processes, network, systems, databases, security and application events. Discussion and live demostration of how tier 2 "best of breed" solutions that feed alarms and event information to the MOM, enhance the alarms via an impact database and create two way Remedy tickets.

FBI Assistant Special Agent to Discuss Cyber-Security in April

As our membership grows, we have had some inquiries about the possibility of having Special Interest Groups in several areas. If you are interested in starting or participating in a SIG for System Administration, Networking, C, Object Oriented Programming, a specific vendor, etc., please contact any officer of the group.
