The St. Louis Unix Users Group offers shell access accounts to its membership for personal, non-business use.

The accounts provide, but are not limited to, the following services:

• Dial-up (PPP).
• Your own personal web page : www.sluug.org/~you.
• A personal email account : you@sluug.org (Supports POP3 and IMAP access).
• A variety of Unix Shells.
• Access to the Internet via several protocols.

Account prices are subject to change each year. Currently the prices are:

• $50/year - Full access including dial-up.
• $25/year - Full access except no dial-up.
• A second account for a spouse/significant other is 1/2 the price of the primary account with the same access.

Members can pay at any SLUUG meeting. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Payment can also be mailed to the SLUUG Treasurer at the SLUUG mailing address. Make sure your name and account ID are included with payment for proper crediting. Renewals cover July through June of the next year. Renewal notices will be emailed to your SLUUG account. You need to read your mail and renew promptly. If you missed the renewal notices, you still must pay in July of each year. Failure to renew will result in cancellation of your account.

Some documentation is available that might help understand SLUUG's systems and policies for their use. This is not every detail, but is a starting point.
