As noted below, Calif passed a law conflicting with FCC rules just 2 weeks ago. There are already interesting legal battles shaping up.
Prof Davidson, who is our speaker tomorrow nite (Thurs), just wrote an article about it.
You can Google for it under( “Sandy Davidson” and “Governor Moonbeam”).
Or you can go to https://www.columbiamissourian.com/opinion/local_columnists/sandy-davidson-… <https://www.columbiamissourian.com/opinion/local_columnists/sandy-davidson-…><https://www.columbiamissourian.com/opinion/local_columnists/sandy-davidson-… <https://www.columbiamissourian.com/opinion/local_columnists/sandy-davidson-…>>
Geech! Homework to read before our mtng! ;-)

P.S.
And do invite more people. Prof Davidson teaches in both the Law School & Journalism school so people from either of those disciplines might also enjoy this.
