NON COMPUTER EVENTS:
The US Chess Championships have been taking place in St. Louis again
this year in the Central West End.
Games 1PM most days. Closing ceremonies Tuesday 26 April at 6:30pm.
Special events (Blitz games, etc,) thru Friday 29 April.
These are some of the best players in the world. (P.S. Webster
University just won its 4th straight college chess championship. They
have never lost a final four game in 4 yrs. They have become a famous
power house!)

VOLUNTEER JUDGES for the Academy of Science SCIENCE FAIR!!!
All you need to be a judge is an interest in science. Please help and
tell them you came from SLUUG.
Free dinner provided at Queeny Park for all judges!
Awards
Amount: $60,000 in scholarships and awards will be presented to students
with top projects. Ribbons are presented to all.

How long does it take to judge:
judges are asked to judge at least 15 projects which takes about 2 hours.
Of course they can judge more projects if they would like!
