ANTI-SPAM with Sender Policy Framework
by David (Dave) Forrest
Sometimes, a bit more action is needed to get e-mail SPAM to manageable
amounts. What do you use? IETF's Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is one of
the answers.
It was once known as “Sender PERMITTED FROM”, but now is actually
“Sender POLICY FRAMEWORK” and MUST be included in a TXT resource record.
Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is the current anti-spamming idea used by
gmail and others. SPF is a great technique to add authentication to your
emails. However it has some limitations.
