: The Wonderful World of Browsers
by Scott Granneman
Of all people on the Web:
66% use Chrome.
17% use Safari. Just
4% use Firefox,
3% use Edge, & only
1.3% use Internet Explorer (that browser deserves it, at least!).
But there’s a whole wide world of web browsers out there that are excellent & offer
cool features that the major browsers may never include. In this talk I’m going to
provide you with some neat tips & tricks for the widely-used browsers, but I’m also
going to go deep on some browsers that aren’t as well known but definitely deserve a spot

Capturing Your Linux Workstation Screens
This Linux program that was created to record video and sound of programs and games. The
orginal goal was to create a program that was really simple to use. After adding more and

Also we have moved the stlLUG back 1 wk so that it is NOT the nite following the
Wed general mtng. I.E. this month its the 4th Thurs, 22 Oct. The topic will be
Wireguard. It is the new VPN technology that is now included
in the kernel.
The topic is a Virtual Private Network that is built into the Linux kernel called
WIREGUARD.
ABSTRACT:
Wireguard for fun and networking: This year VPN usage and remote work has played an
increasingly important role in everyday life. Historically setting up VPNs in Linux was
a painful process with many compromises. Thankfully wireguard makes things easy with
its first class inclusion in the Linux kernel, cross platform clients, and ease of
configuration. As a part of the presentation we will cover setting up a wireguard
server, and clients in Linux, windows, Mac OS, and Android.
