TOPIC: Linux at the Open Network Laboratory (ONL) at *WUSTL
Abstract:
The ONL is a *remote laboratory *for the networking research and
educational communities, designed to enable *experimental *evaluation
of *advanced
networking concepts* in a realistic working environment.
Dr. Parwatikar will:
- present a brief overview of the ONL,
- describe the evolution of the ONL from *custom-built routers to
Linux-based systems*, and
- discuss technical issues on the use of Linux and the *Ubuntu* distribution
in this environment.
*Presenter Bio:*
Dr. Parwatikar has worked as a research associate in the Applied Research
Laboratory in the Computer Science dept at Washington U since 2000.
She is involved in the development and maintenance of the Open Network
Laboratory (ONL), and various research projects in the area of networking.

We will start the mtng using the JitSi platform. We have had some worries if it is
