EMAC is donating a controller for the group's use! The first task will be to setup development environments [Eclipse based], and then build a custom kernel with USB networking. Subsequent tasks will be: 1) Create a safe line voltage interface 2) Setup a thermocouple interface 3) Build a current sensing circuit The iPAQ controller was chosen for it's onboard I/O, .. no 'daughter' boards or external devices needed. Form factor is PC-104, which means it is very compact as well. Anyone interested should let us know if 2nd Thursday of the month or otherwise would be good for regular meetings.
