The monthly mtng of the St. L Linux Users Group (LUG) is in 3 days!
And, it will be of interest even if you don’t care about crypto-currencies, as he is
saying that the Pi is actually controlling the computing processes on other machines.
Sounds like a cluster of compute servers.
Invite your friends & co=workers who might be interested in Pi &or CryptoCoin
mining (BitCoin, Ethereum,…).

TOPIC: Crypto Coin Mining on Raspberry Pi
I plan to cover my knowledge of the crypto coin mining that is available. But, mostly I
will cover my own experience in using the Pi as a control base for mining. This spans
about 5 years. As you may know, most mining operations require lots of computing power,
not found on the Pi, but in equipment controlled by the Pi software. I will also discuss
the Pi software and demo a working version - sort of the guts of what is needed.
Also I can make available a list of links to related sites that deal with mining or access
which will help anyone that is interested in investing in coin acquisition.
