LPIC (Linux Pro Institute Certification) study grp 12 wks
Where: 39 Summit Place Webster Groves, MO 63119
The details:
The plan is to go through the self study book for the LPIC-1
chapter by chapter. Here'a a link to the book (note that you can also
buy it on Kindle, which is what I did):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0470404833/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&cam…)
We will meet one evening each week on Thursday, beginning this
Thursday, August 16, 2012, from 7–9:00 p.m. for about twelve weeks and
go through one chapter per week (for 12 weeks, one for each chapter
plus two weeks review.) It seems to me that each chapter stands on its
own and does not necessarily built upon the prior chapter(s), so
anyone is welcome to join us at any time for any session.
The goal is for each participant who so desires (I sure do!) to
sucessfully pass the LPI 101 and 102 exams and earn the LPIC-1
designation. During the course of the class, we will identify testing
opportunities so hopefully will have the test passed by Christmas.
