TOPIC Exorcising a badly managed WordPress server by Lee Lammert and
Chuck Doolittle. Based on real world experience, we will look at different
ways to isolate malware and remediate; examples are taken from WordPress
installations, as the WordPress administrators seldom have the background
to secure the system properly.
Dr. Lee Lammert is the chief scientist at OmniTech Corp. Chuck Doolittle
is a Systems Administrator (sysadmin) with a wide breath of experience
in different Operating Systems and hardware. He's employed by Graybar
Electric.
The Saint Louis MO, STL Linux Users Group meets monthly to talk about
Linux. This GNU/Linux Users Group usually holds its meetings on the
third Thursday of every month. Please note this location and time change
differs from the usual STL LINUX meetings.
STL LINUX Meetings are free and open to everyone.
