Linux and MS Windows on same computer by Ken Johnson
Intended to inform new users
This talk will have a tilt toward emphasizing solutions appropriate for newcomers to
Linux.
Co-residency: Linux and Windows on the same computer. A survey of available methods,
with a more in-depth exploration of WindowsSubsystem for Linux (WSL), available on some
Windows 10 systems.
BIO:
Ken works as an independent consultant performing system and small network
administration, and writing specialized technical documentation. He first set up
co-resident systems in the late 1990s,needing something better than Windows for Workgroups
for running certain network device tests.
The STLLUG meetings are usually on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30PM to 9:00PM.
