The extant Saint Louis Area Computer Club (SLACC) is the oldest, longest
enduring, continuously meeting personal computer organization active in
Greater St. Louis.
We have scheduled a trial physical (face-to-face) meeting for Thursday,
7 July 2022 from 6:00PM till 9:00PM Central Time. This trial meeting
is to see how well events come together.
WHERE: Thornhill Branch Library, Room 2.
12863 Willowyck Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146-3771
Room 2 will be open about 6:00 PM, so that you can bring in and set
up cables, computers, equipment, keyboards, laptops and power strips.
We will also try to continue with online remote access using JITSI
remote video meeting software. Connection instructions will be first
sent to our mailing lists and then linked on our web page:
We will open the remote session at about 6:00 PM, so that you can join
early to test your microphone, screen and video sharing. Hopefully
everything will work well by 6:30PM.
We often hold a Linux Workshop when nothing else more interesting comes
up, or when there is no other event or activity scheduled. This meeting
will be free format, attempting to help computer users with all kinds
of hardware and software issues and problems.
