SYNOPSIS: You've probably heard the term "serverless" thrown around- but what does it mean? You may have even heard the terms "lambda", "function as a service", or "cloud function". What are these, and why are they just the beginning? Should you get in on this way of thinking? Is it complicated? Do you have to change a lot of things? Besides the terms, most of the answers, are of course, "yes, no, or maybe"- but we are going to talk through the main ideas and how they may or may not be relevant for your application.
