BASE: Introduction to emacs
By Steve Stegman <https://www.sluug.org/bio/Steve_Stegmann>
This will be a very basic introduction to emacs. It will feature
starting, exiting, and saving files. It will also give you the basics of
moving around and using a few of the control keys and internal command
line functions. My working version of emacs, set up for the C language,
has 2,832 command line functions. It will also cover making global
changes in a file, using a string or regexp as the target to be
replaced. You'll understand how emacs uses buffers to keep things
organized. The following was previously scheduled for presentation at
STLLINUX.ORG on 22 July 2021.

A look at what's new in SUSE Rancher 2.6, details on what LEAP to SLE
is, and configuration management - it's time if you're not currently
utilizing it. I'll demonstrate some useful commands that every linux
system administrator would love to help aide and automate their jobs.
Meeting link will be shared on our website and this mailing list.
